ETIMAT 10 circuit breaker is a proven safety element for electrical installations in residential buildings, public facilities and industrial plants. Its task is to protect circuits against the effects of overloads and short circuits, ensuring safety of use and minimizing the risk of failure. The design and parameters of the circuit breaker have been selected to meet the requirements of modern electrical installations.

Functionality and technical parameters

The ETIMAT 10 circuit breaker is characterized by a rated current of 10A and a rated voltage of 400V (while being adapted to operate in 230/400V AC networks). Its D tripping characteristic makes it particularly recommended for circuits powering receivers with high inrush currents – such as motors, transformers or heating devices. This allows the circuit breaker to react with a delay to short-term current surges, avoiding unnecessary tripping of the circuit during device startup. The rated short-circuit capacity at 10kA at 230V and 400V and 15kA at 230V/400V (according to EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2 standards) guarantees effective disconnection of the circuit in the event of a short circuit, protecting the installation from damage.

Installation and application

The ETIMAT 10 circuit breaker has a width of only one module, which allows for efficient use of space in the switchgear cabinet. Installation is carried out on a standard TH35 rail, and the possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² provides flexibility in choosing the appropriate connections. The degree of protection IP20 means that the device is intended for use in dry indoor environments. This circuit breaker is used to protect various types of circuits – lighting, socket or powering electrical devices. Adapted to operate at temperatures from -25°C to +55°C, it can be used in a wide range of environmental conditions.
