ETIMAT 10 circuit breaker is a proven safety element in electrical installations – both in residential buildings and public or industrial facilities. Its task is to protect circuits against the effects of overloads and short circuits, ensuring safe use and minimizing the risk of failure. Functionality and technical parameters

The ETIMAT 10 circuit breaker is characterized by a rated current of 25A and a tripping characteristic of D. This means that it reacts with a certain delay to short-term current surges, which is particularly important when starting devices with motors or other inductive loads – this avoids unnecessary tripping of the circuit breaker. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is 10kA at 230V and 400V, and the Icu capacity reaches 15kA at 230V and 400V, which guarantees effective protection in the event of a short circuit. The circuit breaker has one protected pole and is designed for mounting on a TH35 rail with a width of one module (18mm).

Installation and application

The installation of the ETIMAT 10 circuit breaker is simple and intuitive, thanks to its standard module dimensions. The ability to connect cables with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² provides flexibility in choosing the appropriate cables. The degree of protection IP20 means that the device is protected against touching with the hand and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm – however, it is necessary to protect against moisture. This circuit breaker is used in lighting circuits, socket circuits and in the protection of electrical devices with moderate power consumption. Thanks to the possibility of supplying from above or below and the double connection of the insulating busbar, installation is extremely convenient. Additionally, the possibility of sealing the switching lever provides additional safety and prevents accidental disconnection of the device.
