Functionality and technical parameters

The ETIMAT 10 circuit breaker is characterized by a rated current of 10A and a C characteristic, which means it reacts with a delay to short-term current surges, typical of starting devices with induction motors. This minimizes the risk of unnecessary tripping of the circuit. The 1P+N (single-pole with neutral) design allows for the protection of one phase circuit with neutral. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is 10kA at 230V and 400V, and the Icu capacity according to IEC 60947-2 is as high as 15kA at 230V and 400V – guaranteeing effective protection even in the event of serious failures. A width of 2 modules makes it easy to install in switchboards with limited space.

Installation and application

The ETIMAT 10 circuit breaker is designed for mounting on a TH35 rail. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 mm² to 25 mm² (solid and stranded) provides flexibility in choosing wires suitable for a specific circuit. A wide operating temperature range (-25°C to +55°C) allows its use in various environmental conditions. The circuit breaker meets the requirements of IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2 standards, confirming its compliance with applicable safety standards. Additionally, the IP20 degree of protection protects against accidental contact. The ability to seal the switching lever in the "On" or "Off" position increases safety and prevents unauthorized changes to the circuit breaker status.
