ETIMAT 10 circuit breaker is a proven protective element designed for electrical installations in residential buildings, public facilities and industry. It provides effective protection against the effects of overloads and short circuits, guaranteeing safety and minimizing the risk of failure. The 3P+N construction with B40 characteristic makes it a universal solution for a wide range of applications.

Functionality and technical parameters

The ETIMAT 10 circuit breaker is characterized by a rated current of 40A and a rated voltage of 400V, making it suitable for most standard installations. The B characteristic ensures fast tripping in the event of a short circuit, while allowing for short-term overloads without unnecessary circuit interruption – which is particularly important for devices with electric motors. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 10kA (at 230V and 400V) and 15kA (according to IEC 60947-2) guarantees effective protection even in the event of serious disturbances.

The width of the circuit breaker, 4 modules, allows for efficient use of space in the distribution board. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against touch and ingress of solid objects. The possibility of connecting conductors with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² provides flexibility in selecting conductors adapted to a specific load. The circuit breaker operates in a temperature range from -25°C to +55°C, allowing its use in various environmental conditions.

Installation and additional functions

The ETIMAT 10 circuit breaker offers convenient mounting on a TH35 rail, as well as the possibility of power supply from above and below. Additionally, it is possible to mount auxiliary contacts (PS ETIMAT 10) and an overcurrent release (DA ETIMAT 10), which expands the functionality of the device and allows it to be adapted to specific installation needs. The contact position indicator and the possibility of sealing the switching lever increase safety and prevent accidental switching on or off of the circuit. The "ON/OFF" marking on the switching lever makes operation easier.
