The ETIMAT 10 overcurrent circuit breaker is a proven protective element in electrical installations. It finds application in both residential buildings, as well as public and industrial facilities. Its task is to protect circuits against the effects of overloads and short circuits, ensuring safety of use and minimizing the risk of failure. The 3P+N construction with a rated current of 63A and a short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA guarantees effective protection in demanding conditions.
Construction and parameters
The ETIMAT 10 circuit breaker is characterized by a compact design, taking up only 4 modules on a TH35 rail. Its housing with a degree of protection IP20 provides basic protection against touching and ingress of solid objects. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 500V, and the rated operating voltage is 230/400V at a frequency of 50/60Hz. It is worth emphasizing that the circuit breaker has a C characteristic, which means that it reacts more slowly to short-term current surges – an ideal solution for circuits with receivers with a high starting current, e.g. motors. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icn is 6kA at both 400V and 230V.
Functionality and installation
The ETIMAT 10 circuit breaker offers a wide range of adaptation to individual needs. The possibility of mounting auxiliary contacts (PS ETIMAT 10) and an overcurrent release (DA ETIMAT 10) expands the functionality of the device. It also allows for double connection of the insulating busbar – from the top and from the bottom, which facilitates installation in various configurations. Additionally, the presence of a contact position indicator and the possibility of sealing the lever in the "On" and "Off" positions increase safety of use and minimize the risk of accidental change of the circuit breaker state. The cross-section of the connected wires can range from 1 to 25 mm², both solid and stranded. The circuit breaker is adapted to operate in an ambient temperature from -25°C to +55°C. It meets the requirements of IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2 standards.
