Characteristics and application

This two-pole (2P) circuit breaker with a rated current of 4A is characterized by a tripping curve of type B. This means that it reacts quickly to current increases, which is particularly important in circuits with receivers with high starting current – although this is not its only application. The rated voltage of 400V (AC) makes it a universal solution for most standard installations. The ability to work with wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² (solid and stranded) provides flexibility during installation.

Construction and parameters

The ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker has been designed for easy mounting on a TH35 rail. Its compact dimensions – a width of 2 modules and a mounting depth of 68 mm – allow for optimal use of space in the switchgear cabinet. The degree of protection IP20 provides basic protection against accidental contact. In addition, the circuit breaker meets the requirements of IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2 standards, which confirms its compliance with applicable safety standards. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is 6kA at both 230V and 400V, which guarantees effective disconnection of the circuit in the event of a failure. The impulse withstand voltage Uimp is as high as 4kV.
