This three-pole EB2 400/3SF power switch with a rated current of 400A is a solid solution for protecting electrical circuits. Functionality and application

Switches from the ETIBREAK 2 series, to which this model belongs, are designed for connecting circuits and protecting cables, power cords, motors and electrical equipment. Adjustment of the thermal and electromagnetic protection current (or selection of characteristics in the electronic version) allows for precise adaptation to the specifics of the protected installation. The ability to adjust the overload current in the range of 0.63 to 1 x I_n and electromagnetic protection from 6 to 10 x I_r ensures optimal protection.

Characteristics and construction

The switch is characterized by a high short-circuit breaking capacity – up to 36 kA at 400 V, which guarantees safety in the event of a failure. It has a built-in thermal-magnetic (TM) release with adjustable magnetic setting, allowing you to adapt the switching characteristics to the type of load. Screw connections provide a secure and durable connection of wires. Additionally, the presence of a trip indicator facilitates identification of the device's status. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against touch and ingress of solid objects. The device complies with the PN-EN 60947-2 standard.
