Types of regulators

In practice, regulators are devices available in various variants:

• pressure regulators (overpressure and underpressure), allowing to maintain a constant pressure level in hydraulic, pneumatic or gas systems;
• temperature controllers (on-off or proportional PID type) - used in heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems, and with heating boilers;
• flow regulators – volumetric and mass – enabling precise control of liquid or gas in the installation;
• level regulators (float or hydrostatic), which make it possible to maintain a specific, desired level of liquid in the tank;

IP, or Ingress Protection, is an international standard developed for device housings, defining the degree of protection against the ingress of dust and water into the interior. If the mechanism is to be mounted outside the building or in a place exposed to more difficult environmental factors, it is best to choose a higher degree of protection.

Rated current
