Temperature controller RT-827 – precise control for comfort

This temperature controller is a reliable solution for controlling heating and ventilation devices. It allows maintaining a constant, set temperature in the room, which translates to user comfort and optimized energy consumption. Designed for both home and professional installations, the RT-827 controller offers a wide range of adjustments and precise temperature measurement.

Functionality and application

The device operates based on a temperature probe (available separately – RT or RT-2 models), monitoring the ambient temperature. When the temperature drops below the set threshold (taking hysteresis into account), it switches on the heating device, indicated by a red LED. Once the set temperature is reached, the heating device is switched off, and a ventilation device can be activated if necessary. This controller is particularly useful in underfloor heating, radiator systems, and applications requiring precise process temperature control.

Constructional features and mounting

The RT-827 is distinguished by its compact design – it occupies only 1 module on a 35 mm rail, making it easy to mount in electrical distribution boards. Screw terminals with a cross-section of 4.0 mm² ensure safe and reliable electrical connections with a tightening torque of 0.5 Nm. The housing with a protection degree of IP20 protects against touch and ensures safe use in dry rooms. The controller's power consumption is only 1.1 W, minimizing its impact on energy consumption in the installation. A wide operating temperature range (-25 ÷ 50 °C) allows it to be used in various environmental conditions.

The controller is designed to operate at a supply voltage of 230 V AC and a maximum load current of 16 A. The user can adjust the temperature in the range of 0 to 99 °C with hysteresis set between 0.5 and 5 °C. The setting accuracy is 1 °C, and the measurement accuracy is ±1 °C. A green LED indicates the power supply status, while a red LED indicates the device is operating. The connection is made using screw terminals with a cross-section of 4.0 mm², which should be tightened with a torque of 0.5 Nm. The device is designed to operate at a temperature of -25 to 50 °C and has dimensions of one module (18 mm). Mounting is done on a standard 35 mm rail, and the degree of protection is IP20.

Please remember! The temperature probe is not included and must be purchased separately (RT or RT-2 models). The choice of probe depends on the temperature range to be monitored.
