Light dimmer SCO-811 "no memory" for brightness settings, 350W, 1 module
Dimmer for lighting – smooth adjustment and user comfort
The SCO-811 dimmer is a practical solution for controlling incandescent and halogen lighting. It not only allows you to turn the light on and off, but also to smoothly adjust its intensity using a standard momentary switch, i.e. a doorbell. The device is designed for mounting on a 35mm DIN rail and occupies only 1 module, making it ideal for electrical distribution boards.
Functionality and application
SCO-811 has been designed with user convenience in mind. After each switch-on, the lighting automatically returns to maximum brightness – this is particularly useful in rooms where full lighting is usually needed, and dimming is optional. This makes the dimmer perfect for hallways, kitchens or bathrooms. The ability to connect multiple buttons in parallel allows you to control the lighting from several locations in the room. Additionally, the dimmer works with backlit buttons.
Key features:
- Smooth brightness adjustment: Allows you to adjust the lighting to your current needs and mood.
- No memory settings: After each switch-on, the light returns to maximum brightness, ensuring comfortable use in typical applications.
- DIN rail mounting: Facilitates installation and integration with existing electrical installation.
- Compact size: Occupies only 1 module, saving space in the distribution board.
- Compatibility: Designed to work with incandescent, halogen lighting and toroidal transformers.
- Soft Start function: Smooth lighting of the bulb minimizes the risk of damage and extends its lifespan.
Technical parameters and safety
SCO-811 is a device designed to work with a resistive load of up to 350W at 230V AC. It has a protection class of IP20, which means protection against touching with a finger and solid bodies larger than 12.5 mm. Made of thermoplastic, the dimmer ensures durability and resistance to environmental conditions. The built-in thermal protection protects the device from overheating, and thus ensures safe operation of the electrical installation. Before installation, it is recommended to check compatibility with electronic power supplies – some types may require testing due to potential flickering of the lighting.
