Compact power switch – reliable installation protection

This three-pole power switch with a rated current of 630A and a short-circuit breaking capacity of 50kA is a solid solution for protecting electrical circuits. Equipped with a thermal-magnetic trip unit (TM), it provides effective protection against overloads and short circuits, protecting cables, power cords, motors and electrical equipment. The EB2 800/3S switch offers a wide range of adjustment of the thermal protection current (396.9…630A) and short-circuit current (3150…6300A), allowing for precise adaptation to the specifics of the protected installation. The possibility of connecting a motor drive (optional) enables remote control of the switch, increasing user comfort and system automation. The built-in trip indicator informs about the operation of the protection, facilitating the diagnosis of any problems.

Installation and compatibility

The switch has a screw connection of the main contacts, ensuring a secure and durable connection of the wires. Thanks to the universal working position, it can be mounted in any orientation. The degree of protection IP20 guarantees protection against contact with the hand and access of foreign bodies. Compatible with a wide range of internal accessories of the EB2 series – overcurrent, undervoltage, remote control, auxiliary and alarm contacts – which allows to expand the functionality of the device.
