The circuit breaker is characterized by a C tripping characteristic, which means that it reacts to short-term current surges with a certain delay. This allows for trouble-free starting of devices with induction motors or other loads with high starting current – it will not trip unnecessarily when a refrigerator or washing machine is switched on. The rated differential current is 0.03A (30mA), which ensures a quick response in the event of a leakage current to earth and minimizes the risk of electric shock. The device's construction allows connection of conductors with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm², both solid and stranded. It occupies 2 modules on a TH35 rail, which facilitates mounting in a distribution board.
