Application and design features

The KZS-2M2P EDI A C16/0.03 switch is designed to operate in installations with AC 230V voltage and 50Hz frequency. Its compact design – occupying only 2 modules – makes it easy to install in electrical panels with limited space. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures reliable operation even in difficult working conditions, in the temperature range from -25°C to 40°C. The IP20 protection degree guarantees protection against finger contact, increasing safety.

• Rated current 16A: Optimal for most household circuits, protecting typical electrical appliances.
• Rated residual current 0.03A (30mA): Fast reaction to leakage currents, providing a high level of protection for people against electric shock.
• Characteristic C: Allows for short-term overloads, which is particularly important when starting devices with electric motors (e.g. refrigerators, washing machines). Thanks to this, the switch does not switch off unnecessarily during normal operation of these devices.
• Short-circuit capacity 10kA: Safe interruption of short-circuit current up to 10,000A in accordance with EN 61009 standard, protecting the installation from serious damage.
• N pole disconnected simultaneously with phase: Provides complete circuit protection, disconnecting both phase and neutral in case of a hazard.

The KZS-2M2P EDI A C16/0.03 switch is intended for mounting on TH35 rail (standard mounting rail in switchboards). It meets the requirements of overvoltage category III and energy limitation class III, which guarantees its effectiveness in various network conditions.
