The enclosure is characterized by a solid plastic construction and a white color that is easy to match with various interiors. The IP40 protection rating provides basic protection against the ingress of solid objects, which is important in many applications. The set includes a perforated mounting plate to facilitate the installation of telecommunication equipment and a standard 230V socket.

Application and functionality

The ECT 2x18PO MEDIA enclosure is a practical solution for organizing and securing telecommunication installations. The perforation of the mounting plate allows for easy mounting of RJ45 sockets, fiber optic connectors, F-G connectors and other elements. The possibility of using a lock with a key (available separately) increases security and limits access to devices. Thanks to the dimensions consistent with the ECT series, the enclosure easily integrates with other system elements.

Construction and parameters

The enclosure is made of durable plastic, which ensures its durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The use of reinforced insulation (class II) guarantees safe use. The dimensions of the enclosure are 396 mm wide, 361 mm high and 112 mm deep. The front panel is equipped with quick-mounting pins (1/4 turn), which significantly speeds up the installation process. Accessories such as a router holder or Cat. 5e UTP RJ45 modules are also available, which further expand the functionality of the enclosure.
