ECT surface-mounted enclosures – reliability and functionality

ECT surface-mounted enclosures are a proven choice for mounting modular devices in both residential and industrial construction. They provide an appropriate degree of protection IP40, protecting against access to dangerous parts and preventing the ingress of solids. The ECT 4x18PT-s model, designed for 4 rows of 18 modules, features transparent doors, allowing quick identification of installed devices without having to open the enclosure.

### Construction and user features

The enclosure is made of high-quality plastic in white color, characterized by solidity and durability. DIN rails inside the enclosure facilitate the mounting of modular devices. It is equipped with busbars with PE/N terminals protected against accidental contact, and also offers the possibility of mounting an additional PE/N busbar (PST-UNI). A split neutral busbar allows for the installation of a larger number of residual current devices. Mounting accessories, labeling stickers and blanking plugs for unused spaces are included. The front wall has quick-release mounting pins – just ¼ turn to securely mount the enclosure.

### Safety and compliance with standards

The enclosure meets the requirements of the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive, which guarantees minimization of electromagnetic interference. Protection class II provides additional safety – no connection to the protective conductor thanks to reinforced or double insulation. The degree of protection IP40 means protection against the ingress of solid objects with a diameter greater than 1 mm. Suitable for operation in temperatures from -25°C to +60°C.
