Universal distribution box for domestic and industrial applications

This ECH-36PT-s surface-mounted distribution box is a solid and reliable solution for mounting modular equipment. It is suitable for both residential and industrial installations, providing an appropriate level of protection against moisture, dust and other contaminants. It is particularly recommended for outdoor applications and in photovoltaic (PV) installations, where high resistance to weather conditions is required.

Construction and user features

The housing made of high-quality ASA plastic guarantees durability and resistance to UV radiation, which translates to a long service life even in harsh operating conditions. Transparent doors allow a quick view of the installation status without having to open the housing. The IP65 protection class provides a complete seal, protecting the components from water and dust. Inside there is a DIN rail, making it easy to mount modular equipment.

The distribution box offers space for 36 modules arranged in three rows (12 modules per row). It is equipped with PE grounding and N neutral terminals, which simplifies the connection of wires. The ability to change the direction of door opening left/right (for housings from 12 modules) and special knockouts for cable gland mounting increase installation flexibility. For housings with more than two rows, a split N busbar is used, which facilitates the installation of a larger number of residual current devices.

Technical parameters and compliance with standards

The housing is made of ASA plastic - resistant to weather conditions and UV radiation. It provides a high degree of protection IP65 against dust and water jet. Inside there is space for 36 modules, arranged in three rows of 12 modules each. It is designed to operate at a rated voltage of AC 400 V and DC 1500 V, making it ideal for photovoltaic installations. The rated current is 63 A, and the protection class is II - double insulation for increased safety. The housing is gray (RAL 7035), and its dimensions are: width 319 mm, height 535 mm and depth 144 mm. The operating temperature range is from -25°C to +60°C.

The housing meets the requirements of the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive, which guarantees no interference with the operation of devices. The glow wire test confirms high temperature resistance (650°C).
