Surface-mounted distribution box for mounting modular devices

This surface-mounted distribution box, with dimensions of 485 x 287 x 112 mm, is designed for safe and organized mounting of modular devices in residential and industrial construction. It provides an IP40 degree of protection, protecting against access to live parts and the ingress of solid objects. The plastic construction in white (RAL 9003) gives it an aesthetic appearance, and protection class II guarantees additional safety.

Functionality and construction

The housing offers space for 36 distribution modules, arranged in three rows of 12 modules each. Made of durable plastic, it is lightweight and easy to install. DIN rails inside the housing allow for convenient mounting of circuit breakers, fuses and other devices. PE/N terminals (28/4x6) ensure correct connection of grounding and neutral. Thanks to special mounting holes, the distribution box can be easily leveled during installation.

Additionally, the housing has a number of conveniences for installers:

• The PE/N busbars are protected against accidental contact.

• Possibility of mounting the busbar at the top or bottom of the housing, as well as adding an additional PE/N busbar (PST-UNI).

• Split N busbar facilitates the installation of a larger number of residual current devices.

• The kit includes stickers for labeling protected circuits.

• Front wall equipped with quick-mount pins (1/4 turn).

Application and compliance with standards

The ECT36PO-s distribution box is ideal for creating main and sub-distribution boards in electrical installations. It meets the requirements of the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive, which ensures minimization of electromagnetic interference. Designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to +60°C. Its versatility makes it suitable for both new and modernized installations. The possibility of using the ECMECT-L2K lock increases security against unauthorized access.
