The ETITEC C T2 275/20 2+0 surge protector is a key element in protecting electrical installations from the effects of atmospheric and switching surges. The device is designed for mounting in distribution boards, providing level 2 protection in accordance with PN-EN 61643-11. Its task is to minimize the risk of damage to sensitive electronic devices, such as RTV, household appliances, or control systems.

Construction and installation

The surge protector's construction is based on varistor technology, which effectively suppresses surges. Compact dimensions – 2 modules – allow for easy mounting on a standard TH-35 mm DIN rail. Designed for operation in TN-S networks, it offers optimal protection in typical home and industrial installations. Connecting wires with a cross-section of up to 35 mm² (stranded) or 25 mm² (solid) is simple and intuitive. An optical indicator of varistor damage informs about the need to replace the device after it has operated.

Parameters and application

The surge protector is characterized by a rated AC voltage of 230 V and the ability to discharge a peak discharge current of 20 kA (8/20 μs). A protection level of 1.5 kV provides effective protection against high surges. The maximum continuous operating voltage is 275 V. The device finds application wherever there is a risk of surges – in residential buildings, commercial facilities, and in industry.
