#### Construction and application

Optical indication of operation allows for easy identification of varistor damage, which facilitates servicing and device replacement.

The device is characterized by a rated AC voltage of 400 V and a maximum discharge current (8/20 μs) of 40 kA, and a rated discharge current of 20 kA. The protection level of 2 kV guarantees effective limitation of the voltage to safe values. The short-circuit withstand current (Isccr) is 25 kA, which ensures resistance to the effects of short circuits in the installation. The maximum cross-section of flexible conductors is 25 mm², and rigid conductors – 35 mm², allowing connection of conductors of different thicknesses. The degree of protection IP20 provides basic protection against touch and dust.
