This metal surface-mounted distribution box WRP18-2 is a reliable solution for mounting modular equipment both in residential and industrial construction. It provides an appropriate degree of protection for the electrical installation against external factors, and its design facilitates access to components for servicing. Made of high-quality steel and coated with powder coating, it guarantees durability and corrosion resistance.

Construction and features

The housing with dimensions of 441 x 435 x 120 mm offers space for 36 modules, allowing for convenient placement of circuit breakers, protective devices and other equipment. It is standardly equipped with N, PE and TH35 busbars, which simplifies and speeds up the installation process. Knockouts in the upper and lower parts of the housing facilitate the introduction of cables, and mounting holes on the back wall allow for stable mounting of the distribution box to the wall. Additionally, the housing has a rotating ELP latch (001101280), which can be replaced with a padlock (ELK-ERP 001101279) for increased security – particularly useful in public places or where restricted access is required.

Thanks to the depth of 120 mm, it provides comfortable space for running cables also under the TH35 mounting rail, which facilitates cable organization and improves the readability of the installation. The distribution box meets the requirements of protection class I, which means that all conductive elements are connected to the grounding system.
