This metal surface-mounted distribution box WRP18-4 is a solid solution for mounting modular equipment both in residential and industrial construction. It provides an appropriate degree of protection for the electrical installation, and its design allows easy access to the elements when needed. Made of steel and coated with powder coating in RAL 9016, it fits perfectly into modern interiors.

Construction and functionality

The housing has been designed with the convenience of installers and users in mind. It is standardly equipped with N, PE and TH busbars, as well as covers, which significantly speed up installation. Embossments at the top and bottom of the housing facilitate the introduction of cables, and mounting holes on the back wall ensure stable mounting. A depth of 120 mm provides comfortable space for routing cables even under the mounting rail. Additionally, it is possible to use a padlock (available separately), which increases security and limits access to the installation to unauthorized persons – useful, for example, in offices or public utility facilities.

It meets the requirements of IP30 standard, protecting against touching and the ingress of solid objects larger than 2.5 mm. Protection class I guarantees safety of use by connecting all conductive parts of the housing to the grounding system. The durable steel construction provides mechanical resistance (IK08) and long-term reliability. It is designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to +60°C.
