Reducing tee for press systems
This reducing tee, made of carbon steel, is a reliable solution for connecting pipes of different diameters in heating, cooling, compressed air, solar and industrial installations. Designed to work with the KAN-THERM Steel system, it ensures the tightness and durability of connections.
Construction and materials
The tee is made of carbon steel (type 1.0034) and covered with an external layer of zinc. This combination guarantees corrosion resistance and long life even in harsh operating conditions. Hot-dip galvanizing provides effective coating protection and eliminates the need for additional painting. The use of low-carbon steel translates into the durability and reliability of the entire system.
Installation and safety
The tee is designed for press-fit installation, which significantly speeds up the installation process compared to traditional connection methods such as welding or threading. The visual unpressed ring allows for easy quality control of the connection – the absence of the ring means that the connector has not been pressed correctly. In addition, the presence of an LBP o-ring (available for diameters up to 54mm) increases the tightness of the connection.
