Reducing tee for press systems

This reducing tee, made of carbon steel, provides a reliable connection in heating, cooling, compressed air, and solar installations. Its design allows for changing the pipe diameter within the installation – in this case, reducing from 108 mm to 42 mm and back to 108 mm. The use of press technology ensures quick and safe installation without the need for welding or threading.

Materials and protection

The tee is made of carbon steel type 1.0034, which guarantees strength and resistance to loads. The outer surface is galvanized, providing effective anti-corrosion protection and extending the life of the element. Hot-dip galvanizing is a proven method of protection against corrosion, eliminating the need for additional painting.

Installation and identification

The tee design is enriched with a visual unpressed ring, which facilitates control of the connection correctness. Additionally, the presence of an LBP o-ring (available for diameters up to 54mm) increases the connection tightness. The installation method is based on press technology, which is valued for its speed and reliability. Remember to use appropriate pressing jaws dedicated to the Steel Kan-Therm system.
