Functionality and possibilities

The device offers two independent channels, each with a maximum load of 16A, allowing you to control two circuits simultaneously. Communication takes place wirelessly via Wi-Fi, providing access to the device from anywhere with internet access using the dedicated F&F mobile application. In addition to remote control, the DOUBLE SWITCH-D relay enables integration with the Google voice assistant, scheduling events using calendars, and cooperation with other home automation systems thanks to REST API and MQTT support. The built-in RTC clock with power backup guarantees correct operation even in the event of a loss of Wi-Fi connection.

Construction and installation

The DOUBLE SWITCH-D relay is designed for mounting on a standard DIN rail, making it easy to install in an electrical distribution board. It has screw terminals with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² and a tightening torque of 0.4 Nm, ensuring a safe and durable connection of wires. The 2S housing provides adequate protection against external factors (IP20). It should be remembered that the maximum load capacity of the device depends on the ambient temperature and operating conditions – prolonged operation under high load may cause the thermal protection to activate.

This relay is characterized by a supply voltage in the range of 85 to 265 V AC and a control input accepting a voltage of 85 to 265 V AC. It draws less than 2 mA of control pulse current, and the maximum load current (AC-1) is 16 A per channel. The device operates at a radio frequency of 2.4 GHz and uses WI-FI transmission, offering a radio power (IEEE 802.11n) less than or equal to 20 dBm and a receiver sensitivity of -98 dBm. The connection is made using screw terminals with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², tightened with a torque of 0.4 Nm. The standby power consumption is 1.2 W, and during operation (relay on) – 2 W. It is designed to operate at a temperature from 0 to 45°C and has module dimensions of 2S (35 mm), providing an IP20 degree of protection.
