The staircase timer is used to keep the lighting of corridors, staircases or other objects on for a specified period of time, after which the lighting will be turned off automatically.
Action
Activated with a momentary (bell) switch, the staircase timer maintains the lighting for the time set by the potentiometer (from 0.5 min. To 10 min.), After which the brightness is reduced by half for about 30 sec. Only after this time will the lighting be completely turned off (sudden darkness is avoided, there is time to safely reach the switch). When the brightness is reduced, a second switch signal will turn the lighting on to full brightness. The anti-blocking function does not allow the lighting to shine continuously after blocking the stair switch, i.e. after blocking the switch
