Twilight switch for smart lighting

The AZH-LED twilight switch is a practical solution for automatic control of outdoor and indoor lighting. The device, powered by 230V, turns on the light after dusk and turns it off at dawn, providing convenience and energy savings. The design with a built-in light sensor and a hermetic housing (IP65) guarantees reliable operation even in harsh weather conditions.

Functionality and application

AZH-LED is designed to work with LED lighting, but it will also work with other types of light sources. Thanks to its high resistance to surge currents (up to 160A/20ms), it is ideal for controlling receivers generating strong current pulses during switching on, such as some types of LED lamps. The adjustable switching threshold (2-1000 lx) allows you to adjust the sensor's sensitivity to individual needs and environmental conditions. The on delay (approx. 10 s) and off delay (approx. 20 s) minimize the risk of accidental switching on caused by short-term changes in lighting, e.g. by passing cars or lightning.

Construction and mounting

The switch has a housing made of durable thermoplastic, providing durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Surface mounting is quick and easy - just two screws to the substrate. Compact dimensions (51 x 67 x 26 mm) allow for discreet installation in various places. The OMY 3×0.75 mm² connection with a 0.8 m long cable facilitates connection to the electrical installation. The device operates in a wide temperature range (-25°C to +50°C), which ensures its reliability throughout the year. The maximum switching current is 10A for resistive loads and 2500W total power or 300W for LED loads.
