The AZH-MINI-LED dusk-to-dawn sensor is a reliable solution for automatic switching of outdoor and indoor lighting, adapting to changing lighting conditions. The device is particularly recommended for use with energy-saving LED light sources, but will also work with other types of lighting. Its compact size and high functionality make it an ideal choice for both professionals and demanding home users.

Application and functionality

AZH-MINI-LED is designed to control lighting in places such as properties, gardens, terraces, walkways, as well as inside buildings – in utility rooms or corridors. The built-in light sensor precisely monitors the light intensity level, automatically turning on the lighting after dark and turning it off with the arrival of dawn. Adjustment of the switching threshold (in the range of 2-1000 lx) allows you to adapt the operation of the sensor to individual needs and environmental conditions. The on delay (approx. 10 s) and off delay (approx. 20 s) minimize the risk of unwanted reactions to temporary changes in light intensity, e.g. caused by a passing car or lightning.

Construction and mounting

The device is characterized by a solid construction and a high degree of protection IP65, which guarantees its reliable operation even in difficult weather conditions. The hermetic housing protects against moisture, dust and other external factors. Surface mounting is simple and quick – the sensor can be easily attached to a wall or other stable surface. Compact dimensions (42 x 64 x 30 mm) allow for discreet installation in various places. Connection cables OMY 3x0.75 mm² ensure a safe and durable connection to the electrical installation.

Safety and compatibility

The AZH-MINI-LED sensor has been designed with safety in mind. It has overload and surge protection (up to 160 A/20 ms), making it an ideal solution for use with modern LED light sources that generate high current pulses during switching on. The device operates at a rated voltage of 230 V AC and a maximum load of 16 A, ensuring compatibility with most standard electrical installations. In addition, the halogen-free material of the housing increases safety and minimizes the risk of toxic substances forming in the event of a fire.
