Analog voltage converter – precise measurement for your installation
The MAX-AV-1I voltage converter is a reliable device designed to measure voltage and convert it into a unified 4-20 mA current signal. This module is used in automation, monitoring and control systems where precise voltage readings and long-distance data transmission are required. Thanks to this, both installers and end-users can count on stable and accurate system operation.
Functionality and application
The device measures voltage (AC or DC) and converts it into a 4-20 mA current signal, which is a standard in the automation industry. The measurement range of up to 285V (RMS for AC) and 400V (DC) allows for a wide range of applications – from monitoring power grids, through HVAC systems, to advanced industrial applications. TrueRMS value ensures accurate measurements even with irregular waveforms. The output signal protected by a noise filter enables data transmission over a distance of up to 300 meters without loss of quality.
- Wide measurement range: AC voltage up to 285V and DC up to 400V.
- Standard output signal: 4-20 mA – compatible with most control systems.
- TrueRMS measurement accuracy: Ensures precise readings even with network disturbances.
- Noise filter: Stable signal over long distances (up to 300m).
- Compact dimensions: Mounting on a 35 mm rail – saving space in the switchboard (1 module - 18mm).
Installation and technical parameters
The MAX-AV-1I converter is mounted on a standard 35 mm DIN rail, which facilitates its integration with existing infrastructure. The device is powered in the range of 9-30 V DC, which provides flexibility in choosing a power source. High resistance to interference (WE-OUT withstand voltage: 3 kV) guarantees reliable operation even in harsh industrial conditions. The use of 2.5 mm² screw terminals ensures a secure connection of wires, and the tightening torque of 0.4 Nm minimizes the risk of damage to the terminals. The device operates at a temperature of -20°C to +50°C and has an IP20 protection class.
