This automatic flood protection system, equipped with a 3/4 inch valve, is a comprehensive solution to protect residential buildings from the effects of flooding. The system is designed for both single-family and multi-family homes, offering peace of mind and property protection. It works by monitoring the humidity level in critical areas – boiler rooms and living spaces – and automatically shutting off the water supply when a threat is detected.

How does the system work?

The ASP (Automatic Flood Protection System) constantly monitors the humidity level using sensors placed in strategic locations. If the defined alarm threshold is exceeded, the controller immediately activates the solenoid valve, cutting off the water supply. The controller also allows manual valve control, enabling convenient system management. The water supply is reopened only after the humidity level drops to a safe level. This will help you avoid serious damage caused by uncontrolled flooding.

System components and their role:

The system consists of several key elements that work together to provide reliable protection:

• Distribution box: The heart of the system is the distribution box, containing the central SAM-01 controller, electrical circuit protection, and a battery to maintain operation during short power outages.
• Solenoid valve (3/4 inch): This valve is responsible for physically cutting off the water supply when flooding is detected. Its solid construction guarantees reliable operation for a long time.
• Humidity sensor for boiler room (SON-K): A specialized sensor designed for installation in the boiler room, where the risk of leakage is particularly high.
• Humidity sensors for living spaces (SON-M): Two sensors designed to be placed in living spaces, such as bathrooms or kitchens, where there is also a potential risk of flooding.

Additionally, the system has a 12V/1.3Ah battery ensuring continuous operation even during temporary power outages – the battery backup time for a new unit is approximately 72 hours. Remember to replace the battery every 36 months to maintain full system functionality. The system operates in a temperature range from 5°C to 50°C. The system height is 420 mm.
