This three-phase phase switch PF-431 from F&F is designed to ensure the continuity of power supply to single-phase receivers. Its task is to automatically switch to another phase in the event of a voltage failure in the primary phase or a drop in its parameters below the norm. This ensures that devices remain powered, minimizing the risk of downtime and damage. This switch is particularly useful in places where stable power supply is critical, such as workshops, homes with sensitive electronic equipment or alarm systems.

Functionality and construction

The PF-431 switch is distinguished by the presence of a priority phase (L1), which means that if its parameters are correct, it will always be switched on to the output. In the event of a voltage drop in phase L1 below 190V or its failure, the system will automatically switch to phase L2 (if the parameters are correct). If phase L2 is also unavailable, the switch will switch to phase L3. When the correct voltage returns to phase L1, the switch will return to it. The activation of individual phases is signaled by LED indicators. Mounting is done on a standard TH-35 rail, which facilitates integration with the existing electrical installation.
