Automatic phase switch PF-441 with phase priority, for cooperation with contactors, 4 modules
Automatic phase switch PF-441 is a reliable device that ensures continuity of power supply in case of problems with one of the phases. This is particularly important for sensitive receivers, where even a short interruption in power supply can have serious consequences. Designed for both direct connection (up to 16A) and cooperation with contactors, it offers flexibility in choosing a solution to specific needs.
Application and functionality
The switch automatically monitors the voltage in each phase and, in the event of a loss or drop in parameters of one of them, switches the power supply to the next available phase. Phase L1 is treated as a priority – if its parameters are correct, it will always be used. This solution minimizes the risk of downtime and ensures a stable power supply to critical devices. The built-in undervoltage and overvoltage control function additionally protects connected devices from damage caused by incorrect voltage. Phase failure detection allows for a quick response to problems in the power grid.
For installers and end users
The switch is easy to install thanks to standard screw terminals and the possibility of mounting on a 35mm rail (4 modules). The device is equipped with LEDs indicating the power supply status and the currently switched phase, which facilitates diagnostics and control. Thanks to cooperation with contactors, the load range can be extended to suit the needs of larger installations. Importantly, in the event of a short circuit of the contactor contacts, the system will not switch to the next one, preventing potential failures. The system checks the correctness of the voltages for 2 seconds after power-on before switching on the selected phase.
Technical specifications
The switch operates in the voltage range of 195-250V and is characterized by a fast switching time (0.5 - 0.8 seconds). It has three normally closed contacts and no normally open or changeover contacts. Its compact dimensions (70 x 75 x 110 mm) allow for easy adaptation to existing electrical infrastructure. Power consumption does not exceed 1W, making it an energy-saving solution. The device has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against touching with a finger and solid objects with a diameter of more than 12.5 mm.
