Automatic phase switch – reliable power supply and control
The PF-452 automatic phase switch is a device designed to maintain power continuity in the event of problems with one of the phases. It will be useful both in home installations and in commercial facilities where stable power supply is crucial. It can also function as a controller, allowing prioritized power supply to selected circuits in the event of an incomplete phase.
How does it work?
The switch monitors the voltages on all phases. In the event of a loss or drop in parameters of one of them, it automatically switches the load to the remaining ones, ensuring uninterrupted operation of connected devices. The switching time is from 0.5 to 0.8 seconds, minimizing interruptions in power supply. The device offers flexibility thanks to the possibility of selecting the output voltage – 400V (interphase) or 2x230V (phase).
Versatile application and functions
PF-452 is not only protection against power outages. Thanks to the priority controller function, it allows selective powering of receivers. It is possible to set which devices should always be powered (even with one correct phase), and which will only work after the full three-phase power is restored. This is an ideal solution for systems requiring continuous operation of critical infrastructure elements. Additionally, the switch works with generator sets.
Mounting and technical parameters
The switch is mounted on a standard TH-35 mm rail and occupies 5 modules (87.5 mm wide). Connection is made using screw terminals with a cross-section of 4.0 mm². The device has built-in LED indicators indicating the power supply status and the presence of individual phases. It is designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to +50°C and is characterized by an IP20 degree of protection. The maximum load current is 16A. Adjustable trigger threshold allows you to adjust the sensitivity to specific installation conditions (lower: 150-210V, upper: 230-270V). The operating time is adjustable in the range of 2-10 seconds.
