PSR-463-AUTO is a four-pole automatic mains switch designed for safe and reliable switching of power between the main power supply and an emergency source, such as a generator. The device is ideal for use in residential, commercial and industrial buildings where uninterrupted power supply is critical. Thanks to the ability to operate in automatic mode, it ensures a smooth transition to backup power in the event of a mains power failure.

Functionality and application

The PSR-463-AUTO switch allows automatic switching of power in AC 50/60 Hz networks with a voltage of 230/400 V, supporting a current of up to 63 A. A mechanical lock prevents simultaneous activation of both power sources, guaranteeing the safety of the installation and equipment. Thanks to its extended functionality, the switch can be controlled by an external generator, has a safety input to disconnect power in emergency situations, and a status indicator. The ability to operate in Auto or Manual mode provides flexibility to adapt to different user needs.

Construction and parameters

The device is characterized by a solid construction and high quality workmanship. Mechanical endurance at 10,000 cycles and electrical endurance at 6,000 cycles guarantee long-term and trouble-free operation. Impulse voltage 4 kV and short-circuit switching capacity Icm 7.5 kA (0.1s) provide protection of the installation against overvoltages and short circuits. Mounting on a TH35 rail facilitates integration with existing switchboards. The switch has an independent control circuit and an actuator mechanism, which increases its reliability. In addition, indicator lights show the status of the main power supply, emergency power supply and the status of the circuit breakers, and output ports allow connection of alarm and external control signals.
