Universal bistable relay for lighting and LED circuit control
This two-channel bistable relay BIS-416D-LED is a solution for installers and users who need independent control of two circuits. The device is particularly useful in LED lighting systems, where handling inrush current up to 120A (for 20ms) is crucial. The ability to cooperate with backlit buttons increases functionality and flexibility of applications.
Application and functionality
The BIS-416D-LED relay operates on the principle of a pulse – the receiver is switched on after a short signal from a momentary (bell) button. Another pulse turns it off. Two independent channels controlled by separate inputs allow parallel control of two circuits. An important feature is the lack of "memory" of the contact state – after a power failure and reconnection, the relay returns to the off state, which prevents uncontrolled switching on of receivers after a power failure.
Installation and technical parameters
The relay is extremely easy to install – it is mounted on a standard DIN TH-35 rail, taking up only 1 module (18 mm wide). The device power supply is 165÷265 V AC, and each channel can handle a load of up to 10A. The connection is made using screw terminals 2.5 mm², which require a tightening torque of 0.4 Nm. The power consumption in standby mode is only 0.2 W, and during operation – 1 W. The relay operates in a wide temperature range from -25°C to +50°C and has a protection class of IP20. The power status is indicated by a green LED, and the status of each channel – by red LEDs. The delay time is in the range of 0.1 ÷ 0.2 s, and the control pulse current does not exceed 5 mA.
