Current relay with the ability to cooperate with current transformers

The EPP-618 electronic current relay is a universal device designed to monitor the current intensity in an electrical circuit. Thanks to the digital LED display, it allows you to read the measured current value in real time, which facilitates diagnostics and precise settings. This relay is used both in installations with current transformers (5A) and directly, measuring current up to 50A.

Versatile application and functionality

EPP-618 offers four operating modes (F1, F2, F3, F4), adapted to different needs and scenarios. It allows you to react to exceeding or falling below the current threshold values, as well as to work in the so-called measurement window. The adjustable on and off time (0.5÷10 s) ensures precise adaptation to the specifics of the protected installation. The relay has a 1×NO+1×NC contact configuration, which increases its flexibility in various applications.

Mounting and technical parameters

The device is mounted on a standard 35 mm rail and occupies 3 modules (51 mm). It has screw terminals 2.5 mm² with a tightening torque of 0.4 Nm. The power supply is 195÷253 V AC, and the power consumption is 4 W. The relay operates in a wide temperature range of -25 ÷ 50 °C and has a protection class of IP20. The diameter of the through hole is 4 mm, which facilitates the connection of wires with a cross-section of up to 2.5 mm². The maximum AC-1 load current is 2 x 8 A. The adjustment range for direct measurement is 0.5÷50 A and the transformer setting range is 1÷999. The fixed hysteresis is 10%, and the measurement error is less than 3%.
