Universal light sensor for automation systems

This external light sensor, also known as a light detector, is a key element of automatic lighting control systems. It provides reliable light intensity measurements in various atmospheric conditions, thanks to the high tightness of the housing (IP65). This is particularly important in outdoor installations, where it is exposed to moisture and dirt.

Construction and application

The sensor is designed to work with dusk switches, enabling automatic switching of lighting on and off depending on the light level. The sensor design allows for flexible surface mounting and connection of a cable with a maximum diameter of 7mm using a PG7 cable gland. This makes installation quick and easy, and the cable length can be adjusted to specific needs. The sensor is compatible with the AZH-S PLUS, AZ-B PLUS and AZ-112 PLUS series, but can also be used independently in other automation systems.
