This external, hermetic brightness sensor is designed to work with various models of twilight switches, providing precise light intensity measurement and automatic lighting control. It is ideal for both home and commercial installations where reliable operation and weather resistance are key.

Features and application

The fi 10 probe is dedicated to the AZH-S, AZ-B, AZ-B UNI and AZ-112 series automatons. Its compact design simplifies installation, and the hermetic housing (IP65) guarantees protection against moisture and dirt. This allows the sensor to be used outdoors, without fear of damage caused by weather conditions. A 1-meter long cable (OMY 2x0.5mm²) provides flexibility in connection and the possibility of extension if necessary – however, remember to make the connection in a sealed box or in a place protected from external factors.

Important installation and testing tips:

When testing the operation of the twilight switch, completely cover the device (e.g. with a box) – not just the sensor – strong sunlight can penetrate through the housing and interfere with measurements. It is also important to avoid situations where the switched-on light source directly illuminates the sensor, which could lead to incorrect system operation.
