Liquid level control relay – reliable installation protection

The PZ-832 RC B relay is designed to monitor the level of electrically conductive liquids in tanks. It serves to detect both overfilling and emptying, providing comprehensive installation protection. It is a two-state relay with an alarm, which can be used in various systems, from home installations to industrial solutions.

Versatile application and functionality

The device is particularly useful where automatic control of filling and emptying processes is necessary, as well as signaling emergency conditions. Thanks to the adjustable sensitivity setting, it can be adapted to the specific properties of the liquid being controlled. The cascading capability of the device allows multiple relays to be connected to monitor multiple levels in a single tank or several tanks simultaneously. This relay does not require the use of additional probes – the measurement is based on the conductivity of the liquid.

Construction and mounting

The relay is mounted on a standard 35 mm DIN rail and occupies 5 modules (87.5 mm wide). It has screw connections, which facilitates the connection of wires with a cross-section of up to 4 mm². The probe terminals are separated from the mains by a transformer, which increases safety. The device is characterized by high resistance to interference and stable operation. The maximum permissible time delay for activation is 2 seconds, ensuring a quick response to changes in liquid level.
