This EMI filter module, designated mH-SP, is a key element in ensuring the stable and reliable operation of building automation systems. Mounted on a DIN rail, it effectively reduces electromagnetic interference, protecting sensitive devices from its negative impact. Its compact size – 3 modules – allows for easy integration with existing infrastructure.

Protection and Compatibility

The mH-SP module is designed to work with mH-SU24 and mH-SU50 power supplies, which provide 24V DC to system components. Using the filter in the power supply circuit, in conjunction with a B6A overcurrent circuit breaker, provides comprehensive installation protection. This minimizes the risk of damage caused by overvoltages or short circuits.

The filter is compatible with various bus systems, but does not directly support KNX, LON, Powernet, KNX with radio transmission, or Funkbus (radio). However, it can be used in installations utilizing "other" bus systems. Its versatility makes it a suitable solution for a wide range of applications in building automation.

Mounting and Parameters

The module is mounted using a DIN rail adapter – a standard solution that facilitates installation and servicing. The module width, 3 modules, allows for efficient use of space in the distribution board. The device operates in a temperature range of 0 to 45°C and has an IP20 degree of protection, ensuring its safe use in typical environmental conditions. The filter supply voltage is 230V AC.
