Two levels of protection in one device

OP-230 combines the functions of an advanced Class III (formerly Class D) surge protection system and a triple interference filter. The surge protection system uses six varistors, providing a double degree of protection against symmetrical and asymmetrical surges. The filter effectively eliminates radio and industrial interference, blocking them both to and from the device. This combination minimizes the risk of damage caused by sudden voltage spikes or disturbances in the power grid.

Interference filtering for stable device operation

The triple interference filter based on a passive choke system significantly reduces the impact of interference on the operation of connected devices. This filter acts as a four-pole, passing signals of the desired frequency and suppressing unwanted ones. Thanks to this, devices such as PLC controllers, time relays or computers operate more stably and without interference, which translates into increased reliability of the entire system. Blocking interference generated by user devices also protects the power grid from the negative impact of these devices.
