LED Signal Amplifier – Expand Installation Capabilities

The LED-AMP-1D signal amplifier is a solution designed for LED lighting systems on a DIN rail. The device allows for the safe and efficient connection of long sections of LED strips, eliminating problems related to voltage drop and interference in the control signal. Thanks to the galvanic isolation between the input and output, the amplifier enables the expansion of the lighting chain without fear of interference resulting from different power phases or ground loops.

How does the LED-AMP-1D work?

The principle of operation is based on reproducing the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signal controlling the lighting, which is supplied to the amplifier's input. The reproduced signal is then passed to the output, powering the next segment of lighting with energy drawn from the connected power supply. A yellow LED on the device's housing indicates the input signal level, which facilitates diagnostics and control of the system. A built-in thermal protection system protects the device from overheating, disconnecting the lighting if the permissible temperature is exceeded (65°C) – this situation is signaled by a red LED.

Safety and reliability in every detail

The LED-AMP-1D amplifier has been designed with safety and installation reliability in mind. Galvanic isolation at 2.5 kV provides effective insulation between the input and output, minimizing the risk of damage and interference. The device is mounted on a standard 35 mm rail and occupies only one module (18 mm wide), making it easy to integrate with existing systems. It should be remembered that the amplifier is not designed to operate with AC voltage – it requires a DC power supply in the range of 9÷30 V. It is also important to select a power supply with a current capacity adapted to the load. Connections are made using 2.5 mm² screw terminals, with a tightening torque of 0.4 Nm. The device operates at temperatures from -15°C to +50°C and has an IP20 protection rating.
