Automatic phase switch with priority phase, inrush relay (160A/20ms) PF-431i PF-431I
Automatic phase switch – reliable power supply and installation protection
This automatic phase switch with phase priority, equipped with an inrush relay (160A/20ms), is a key device ensuring continuous power supply in case of problems with one of the phases. It is ideal for both home and industrial installations where voltage stability is critical. The device effectively protects connected devices from the effects of phase failure or exceeding the permissible voltage values, automatically switching to the phase with correct parameters.
Construction and operating principle
The PF-431i switch uses True RMS technology for precise voltage measurement, which guarantees reliable operation even in the event of network disturbances. The built-in inrush relay with a value of 160A/20ms allows for the safe starting of devices with high current consumption, such as motors or transformers. The use of phase priority ensures that switching occurs to the most stable and optimal phase available in the network. Mounting on a standard 35mm rail (3 modules) facilitates integration with existing electrical infrastructure.
Application and benefits
- Device protection: Protects sensitive electronic devices from damage caused by voltage fluctuations or phase failure.
- Continuous power supply: Ensures uninterrupted operation of critical loads, minimizing the risk of downtime.
- Compatibility: Designed for use with three-phase 3 × 400 V + N installations. Please note that the device is not compatible with generators.
- Signaling: Equipped with three LEDs indicating the presence of voltages on individual phases, which facilitates diagnostics.
- Easy installation: Compact dimensions (52.5 mm width) and mounting on a 35 mm rail allow for quick and easy installation.
- Safety: Compliance with IP20 safety standards provides protection against contact and external environmental influences.
- Measurement accuracy: Voltage measurement error at ±1% guarantees accurate operation of the switch.
The device has screw terminals with a cross-section of 4.0 mm² and a tightening torque of 0.5 Nm, ensuring a solid connection of the wires. Power consumption does not exceed 1W, minimizing energy losses. A wide operating temperature range (-25 ÷ 50 °C) allows installation in various environmental conditions.
