Relay module for home and industrial automation
This mH-R2x16 dual relay module is part of the F&Home system, designed to control electrical circuits. It allows remote switching of devices with a load of up to 16A on each of the two independent channels. The module is used in smart home installations, industrial automation, and anywhere remote control of loads is needed.
How it works and application
The mH-R2x16 module works with mH-IO32, mH-E16 and mH-IO12E6 control modules, receiving a control signal from them – 24V DC negative. Upon receiving the signal, the relay closes the circuit, allowing current to flow to the connected device. This makes it possible to control lighting, electrical outlets or other receivers. Mounting is on a DIN rail, and the compact dimensions (35 x 65 x 90 mm) allow it to be placed in a standard distribution box – the module takes up 2 modules.

The module is powered by 24V DC (tolerance -20% to +10%). It is important to ensure correct power supply polarity and common ground with the logic modules – it is best to use one power supply or connect the power supply grounds. The contact load value should be selected appropriately for the nature of the receiver (e.g., resistive bulbs, induction motors, switch-mode power supplies), taking into account inrush currents and power factor. The module can operate at a temperature of 0°C to +40°C with humidity below 85% (without condensation). The IP20 protection class means there is no protection against the ingress of solids and water – the module is intended for installation in dry rooms.
