Intelligent stairwell and corridor lighting control

The ASO-204 stairwell automation is a reliable solution for automatically switching lights on and off in communication areas such as stairwells, corridors or halls. The device is designed to work with momentary (bell) switches, keeping the light on for an adjustable time after the button is pressed. This provides comfort and safety for users, and also allows for energy savings.

Functionality and application

ASO-204 is designed to work with 24V AC/DC installations, offering a maximum switching capacity of 16A. Its versatility results from the possibility of connecting both 3- and 4-wire cables. Adjustable lighting time in the range of 0.5 to 10 minutes allows you to adapt the operation of the automation to the specific needs of a given facility. Switching off is signaled by gradually dimming the light, which informs the user about the upcoming shutdown of the lighting.

Worth knowing: The automation does not have an anti-blocking function – holding the button for a long time will result in the light being permanently switched on.

Installation and parameters

The automation is extremely easy to install thanks to the use of screw terminals, which ensure secure and durable cable connections. Compact dimensions (51x67x26 mm) allow installation in limited space. The device is designed for surface mounting and is characterized by a protection class of IP20. The power supply is 24V AC, and the maximum load power for bulbs is 2300W. Thanks to this, the automation will work in various lighting applications.

Remember: When selecting the automation, take into account the type of load (bulbs, fluorescent lamps) and its power to ensure proper system operation. When using fluorescent lamps with compensation, take into account the appropriate maximum switching capacity (up to 1000 VA for DUO-compensated fluorescent lamps and 800 VA for parallel-compensated fluorescent lamps).
