Time relay PCA-512 single-function - delayed dropout, contact: 1P, U=230V, I=10A, 1 module
Time relay for automation and control
The PCA-512 time relay is a reliable device designed for time-based control in a wide range of applications – from industrial automation to home installations. It will be useful in ventilation, heating, lighting or signaling systems. Its compact size (1 module) makes it easy to mount on a DIN rail, and its versatility makes it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users.
Function and principle of operation
PCA-512 operates in delayed-off mode. This means that after applying the supply voltage, the contact switches, starting the countdown of the set time. After this time elapses, the contact returns to its initial position. Re-activation requires disconnecting and reconnecting the power supply. The operating status is indicated by LEDs – green (power supply) and red (time countdown). It is worth remembering that changing the time range during operation of the relay is impossible – a momentary disconnection of the power supply is necessary.
Time ranges and technical parameters
The relay offers a wide range of time adjustment – from 0.1 seconds to 576 hours, divided into convenient ranges: 0.1-1.2s, 1-12s, 10-120s, 1-12min, 10-120min, 2-24h and 1-12 days (24-288h). This allows for precise adjustment to specific application needs. The switching contact with a load capacity of 10A at 230V AC allows you to control various receivers. Additionally, the relay has overload and short-circuit protection. The supply voltage is 230 V AC, and the operating mode is delayed-off. The maximum AC-1 load current is 10 A, and the contact configuration is 1 × NO/NC. The time adjustment range is from 0.1 s to 576 hours, the device width is 1 module (18 mm), mounting is on a 35 mm DIN rail, and the degree of protection is IP20.
Mounting and safety
Mounting the relay is simple and intuitive – just place it on a standard 35 mm DIN rail. Connection of the power supply and controlled wires is done using screw terminals with a cross-section of up to 2.5 mm². It is important to follow the markings on the housing and maintain the appropriate tightening torque of the screws (0.4 Nm). The device operates at a temperature of -25°C to +50°C and has a degree of protection of IP20.
