This universal time relay PCU-520 is a reliable device designed for precise time control in a wide range of applications – from industrial automation to home installations. It will be useful in ventilation, heating, lighting, signaling systems and many others. Its construction allows for easy mounting on a standard TH-35 rail, which facilitates integration with existing installations.

Functions and Application

The relay offers four operating modes: delayed-off, delayed-on, and cyclic operation. This allows it to be adapted to the specific needs of a given application. The ability to set two independent times (T1 and T2) – work and break time – provides configuration flexibility. LED signaling of contact status with a red LED and power with a green LED facilitate monitoring of the device's operation.

The PCU-520 relay is particularly useful where precise time control of processes is required, e.g. in lighting control systems, where it is necessary to switch lights on and off at specified intervals, or in heating systems, where it is necessary to control the operation of radiators depending on the time of day or temperature.

Technical Characteristics and Construction

The device is characterized by a universal supply voltage of 24V AC/DC and a high switching capacity of the contacts – up to 8A at 250V AC. Two changeover contacts (NO/NC) allow for controlling various circuits. The modular design (2 modules) provides compact dimensions and easy integration with other devices mounted on a DIN rail. Applied screw terminals 4.0 mm² ensure safe and durable wire connections. An important feature is also a wide range of time adjustment – from 0.1 seconds to 24 hours, which allows for precise adaptation of the device to specific needs. The delay of action is 50ms.

Please remember that the time range cannot be changed with the power on – it is necessary to switch off and on the power again after setting a new range.
