Time relay PCU-520 multifunctional, two independent times T1 and T2, contact U=230V, I=2x8A, 2 modules
Time relay PCU-520 is a versatile device designed for precise time control in a wide range of applications – from industrial automation to home installations, such as ventilation, heating, lighting or signaling systems. Its construction based on the principle of analog multifunctionality ensures reliable operation and flexibility in adapting to specific needs.
The device features the ability to configure two independent times – T1 and T2 – which allows for the implementation of advanced time sequences. DIN rail mounting simplifies integration with existing control systems. The relay offers four basic operating modes: delayed-off, delayed-on, cyclic delayed-off, and cyclic delayed-on. This makes it usable in a variety of automation scenarios.
Functions and application
The PCU-520 relay finds application wherever precise time control is required. In industry, it can be used to control machines and production processes, and in buildings – to automate lighting, heating or ventilation systems. A wide range of time settings (from 0.1 seconds to 24 days) allows the device to be adapted to the specifics of a given application.
- Delayed-off (A): The contacts switch after the set time t1 has elapsed, and then return to their initial position after time t2. Ideal for applications requiring short-term maintenance of the state after switching on.
- Delayed-on (B): The contacts remain in their initial position for time t1, and then switch on for time t2. Useful in situations where it is necessary to delay the start of a device or process.
- Cyclic delayed-off (C): Operating mode performed cyclically with set work and pause time intervals. Excellent for controlling devices operating in time cycles.
- Cyclic delayed-on (D): Similar to mode C, but with delayed switching on in each cycle.
230V AC power supply and switching current up to 8A make the relay compatible with most standard electrical installations. Two changeover contacts provide additional flexibility in configuring control circuits. Additionally, it is worth mentioning the contact status indication with a red LED and the power supply status with a green LED, which facilitates diagnostics and control of the device's operation.
