This passive ceiling motion sensor is an ideal solution for automating lighting inside and outside buildings. It detects motion in a 360-degree radius, providing convenience and energy savings. Functionality and application

The DR-06B sensor uses infrared (PIR) radiation detection technology to detect motion. Thanks to the adjustable twilight threshold (10-2000 lx) and switch-off time (3 s - 9 min), it can be adapted to individual needs and lighting conditions. This is not only convenience, but also real savings – the light will only turn on when needed. This makes it suitable for both domestic and commercial applications.

Design and installation

The sensor is designed for surface mounting on the ceiling. Its housing made of thermoplastic provides durability and resistance to damage. Compact dimensions (diameter 115 mm, height 47 mm) allow for discreet installation in various interiors. Screw terminals (1.0 mm²) allow for easy and safe connection to the electrical installation. The IP20 protection class provides protection against touch and dust. It is important to maintain the appropriate mounting height (2.5 - 3.5 m) for optimal detection range – up to 5 meters at a height of 2.5 meters and a temperature below 24°C.

Worth knowing: The sensor has a forced-off function, which allows you to manually turn off the lighting regardless of the time settings. The power consumption in standby mode is only 0.10 W, and in operating mode 0.45 W – which also translates into energy savings.
