Temperature and lighting sensor for home automation systems

This external sensor, known as rH-SONDA, is designed to measure light intensity and ambient temperature. It is an integral part of the F&F system, working with the rH-T1X1es AC LR module via a UTP cable. This enables remote monitoring of environmental conditions and control of devices based on this data.

Design and application

The sensor housing, with an IP65 protection rating, provides resistance to adverse weather conditions – rain, snow or strong sunlight. This allows for free mounting outdoors, without fear of damage caused by moisture or dust. The suggested mounting method is to lead the UTP cable through the cable gland located at the bottom of the housing. A wide operating temperature range (-30°C to +50°C) makes it reliable in various climates.

Inside the housing there is a connector to which the UTP cable connecting the sensor to the rH-T1X1es AC LR module is connected. Correct connection is crucial for the proper operation of the system – pay attention to the pin assignment: power supply (+ and -), light signal (Light) and temperature signal (Temp).
