The FAMAS double tube two-pipe system with a DN16 diameter is a modern solution for connecting solar collectors to heating devices. The system consists of a double corrugated stainless steel pipe, which ensures durability and corrosion resistance in demanding outdoor conditions.

Construction and materials

The system utilizes stainless steel as the material conducting the heating medium, guaranteeing long-term resistance to corrosion and atmospheric factors. Each pipe features 14 mm thick EPDM thermal insulation with an additional PVC coating and polyethylene film to protect against damage from birds.

The thermal conductivity of the insulation is λ = 0.038 W/mK, ensuring minimal heat loss during medium transport between the collectors and the storage tank. The system also includes a two-core electrical cable with silicone insulation, enabling the connection of temperature sensors and installation control automation.

Application and installation

The pipes are routed from the roof to the basement, eliminating the need for soldering and significantly shortening the solar installation assembly time. The flexible design allows for easy routing in hard-to-reach places and compensates for vibrations and thermal expansion.

The system features a G 3/4 inch thread for standard installation connections. It is available in 50-meter rolls, allowing for flexible installation route planning without unnecessary material waste.

The product is covered by a 10-year manufacturer's warranty and holds the required technical approvals.
